The proclamation was read by Mayor Bob Carrier at the City Council meeting held on Wednesday, February 9th.
On Friday, February 25, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its requirement for face masks on school buses. Effective immediately, the CDC no longer requires the wearing of masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education childcare programs.
On Wednesday, February 23, the NH Department of Health and Human Services and the NH Department of Education issued new guidelines for masking in schools. Based on the guidance provided, starting Monday, February 28, the wearing of masks by students and faculty will be optional but recommended.
In an effort to facilitate the needs of our residents, the City of Dover Fire & Rescue will be hosting a weekly Vaccination Clinic.
Effective February 3rd, the School District will start reporting new confirmed cases on a weekly bases on Fridays.
With the expected forecast of sleet and freezing rain, tomorrow, February 4th will be a remote learning day for all grade levels.
The DMHA and Dover School District are proud to offer a free 3 hour Suicide Prevention class to our community members.
